Hi, Iggy. What are you thinking about?
“Oh, you know, nothing much. Just the Goldbach Conjecture.”
The what?
“They haven’t proved it, you know.”
You’re thinking about the Goldbach Conjecture? Seriously?
“Ha! No, just kidding.”
Good lord, here I thought my dog was ruminating on unsolved mathematical problems.
“Nope, just bacon. But I’ll bet you’re gonna get a bunch of comments now from people who want to discuss the Goldbach Conjecture.”
Uh oh. I hope not.
“You didn’t think this through, did you?”
No. No, I didn’t.
“That’s okay, I never think things through. Works for me. I’m gonna go lick the cat’s back now.”
Whoa, no you’re not!
“It’s okay, he’ll like it this time, I bet.”
Ugh.
Our schnauzers are all about chicken. And then chasing the cats around the house hoping one will be made of chicken.
Iggy doesn’t want to eat our cats — he just really, really, REALLY wants to play with them. They think he’s an idiot.
Oh yes! And the cats are quite eloquent at letting the dogs know to back the F up. Lol
They have a way of shutting everything down instantly with a hiss and a quick paw, don’t they? There is much we can learn from them.
Ha! Whatever the Goldbach thingy doodee wotsit is, it sounds way to intellectual for me lol
I asked Iggy, because he’s way smarter than me. His definition is strangely similar to the Wikipedia definition, but we’ll let it slide because Iggy’s a dog.
From Wikipedia: “Goldbach’s conjecture is one of the oldest and best-known unsolved problems in number theory and in all of mathematics. It states: Every even integer greater than 2 can be expressed as the sum of two primes.” It remains unsolved, probably until Iggy has more time to think about it. 🙂
Hello Iggy!!!!! Get well soon little guy :o) My thoughts are with you, newp
Thank you!
