Okay, Iggy. Come on, we’ll go for a ride.

“Oh boy oh boy oh boy! Car ride! Car ride! Car ride!”

That’s right! Who’s a happy Iggy?

“ME ME ME! I’M A HAPPY IGGY! Wanna stick my head out the window! Wanna feel the wind in my fur! Wanna bark at… um… I don’t know! I can’t choose! WANNA BARK AT THE WHOLE WORLD! HAPPY IGGY!”

Good boy! Are you ready?

YES! I’M READY! CAR RIDE! HAPPY IGGY! HAPPY IGGY!!!

Okay, let me roll down the window a little for you –

“Ha! No, I just want to blow my nose in your hair, then I’m gonna lick the side of your head for half an hour.”

  1. What a happy little dog! You’re so lucky to have him – he is so lucky to have you!

Thanks for posting the cute pix!

  2. Came over from Balloon Juice. That is one adorable dog! Btw, I’m also in GA, metro Atlanta, which I guess you could tell from my nym. I don’t comment much at Balloon Juice, because everybody over there is wicked smart and I’m afraid I’ll write something stupid. I always enjoy your comments.

    1. Thanks! I’m a bit outside Atlanta myself.

I lurked at Balloon Juice for a long time — I still don’t comment nearly as much as I read there; best if I just shut up and learn something from the other people there. You’re right — very smart commenters.

I think you’d hold your own just fine though. 🙂

      Thanks for coming over!

  3. He is so cute! I love that he has a little car harness too – more pet owners need to know how important they are. 🙂

    1. It’s not ideal (really, nothing short of a heavily-padded box would be ideal for him) but it quickly taught him that he’s not getting off the passenger seat when he’s in the car. So other than sticking his nose against my head, he doesn’t even bother trying to move around too much. For that alone it’s helpful.

Thanks so much for reading! 🙂
